The second photo is just to get a sense for how big this guy was... those fish behind him were about 3-4 inches long. I'd say he was close to two feet long...

This is Christian... the kid I'm drawing for a project in Drawing 2. It's been pretty fun so far. I'm not sure, though, whether I want to keep going for more exaggeration, or if I want to start going toward a portrait. I need to have 5 drawings in all. What do you think?

After tons of suggestions from people on Flickr, I reprocessed this photo of Lilah so you could see her face a bit more. I'll take the other one out of the previous post.
I was having some trouble processing this one... but here it is, finally.
My favorite of the day.
Second favorite... If she knew I took this, I'd no longer have a functional camera. haha
Papa probably doesn't even know he said something wrong.
OPPRESSION!!!
One of the two lilies by the window.
And Harley, the most annoyingly lovable golden retriever ever... just after the late, great, Cody Conger, of course.
I can finally take pictures in the basement! Some of you might think that's a bad thing, however. haha
I got the perfect shot early on, but I had my big, honkin' headphones on... and they're distracting. So, I spent about 10 more minutes trying to get the right angles again. I had no such luck. =-\
This is a portrait of one of the kids in my drawing class... we're doing portraits for a few more weeks. The linework is all done with conte crayon, but I went over it with a brush in photoshop, just to differentiate Ryan from the background.
